Hello! I’m Omar Baray, licensed massage therapist and owner of Lone Peak Therapeutic Massage.
Ever since I was young and could remember, I’ve always enjoyed massage. I grew up in West Texas and remember massaging family members’ hands, feet, and shoulders and them telling me I was really good at this and should keep up with it.
Sadly there weren’t any massage schools in West Texas at the time, so instead I went to college to become a Photojournalist. While in College I realized my passion wasn’t photojournalism at all, and as I was at a crossroads, life brought me to Utah.
Once established in Utah, I saw quite a few massage schools around and remembered I had once been passionate about being a massage therapist in the past. I called a few different schools and enrolled at Utah College of Massage Therapy. I immediately knew I was in the right career since I’ve always had the desire to help others in any way I can, and massage therapy is a great way to help people!
I graduated in 2004 and worked at a local massage clinic for 15 years where I worked as a massage therapist as well as in management. I truly have a passion for massage therapy, and this passion has lead me to continue growing and learning as much as I can so I can help people get relief from pain.
I spend a lot of my downtime with my wife, two dogs and cat. I enjoy going to the movies, I’m a huge sports fan, and my wife turned me into a Disney fan.
